TAPNSIGN LLC d/b/a Ophinia ("Ophinia," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Ophinia mobile application (the "App") and related website experiences, including Ophinia.com (the "Website"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App or Website.

Please read this policy carefully. By using the App or Website, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.


1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Account information: Display name, email address, password, sign-in credentials, date of birth information, and age-confirmation information when you register or connect a login method
  • Profile information: Profile photo, biography, and other optional profile fields
  • Captured moment content: Captured media, preview frames, thumbnails, digital signature strokes, template selections, and related metadata
  • Payment information: Billing details processed through Stripe. We do not store your full card number
  • Payout and compliance information: If you set up creator payouts, identity, tax, business, bank account, and payout information is processed through Stripe Connect
  • Additional identity-review information: If additional identity review is required, identity information or government ID data may be processed through Stripe Identity or another verification provider
  • Shipping information: If you order an official print, we collect your name, contact information, and shipping address to fulfill that order
  • Damage claim and reprint materials: If you report shipping damage or a lost print, we collect claim details, photos, and related support information
  • Support, report, and moderation communications: Information you provide when contacting us, reporting content, submitting feedback, or responding to a moderation request

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: How you interact with the App or Website, including pages viewed, public moments viewed, searches, saves, shares, print preview activity, purchases, and other engagement data
  • Device and browser information: Device type, operating system, browser type, app version, IP address, and unique device identifiers
  • Push notification tokens: If you enable notifications, we store a device token to deliver them
  • Short-lived web handoff tokens: When the App opens a Website session for checkout, account, identity-review, or payout flows, a short-lived one-time token may be generated to authenticate that session
  • Public-link interactions: We may collect technical and usage information relating to public certificate pages, QR scans, shared profile links, and other public Ophinia pages

Information from Third Parties

  • Stripe: Payment, checkout, Connect payout, and identity-review data processed under Stripe's terms and privacy policy
  • Supabase: Authentication, database, storage, and backend services
  • Prodigi: Print fulfillment and shipping information required to produce and deliver official prints
  • Bunny.net: CDN, media hosting, and print preview hosting services
  • Resend: Transactional email delivery services
  • Expo, Apple, and Google: App platform services, push notifications, and social login services where applicable

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Enforce age-based access restrictions and eligibility for creator, purchase, print, payout, and other paid features
  • Authenticate you and support account recovery, login linking, and security
  • Capture, process, display, and share authenticated moments
  • Generate and display Certificates of Authenticity, QR destinations, provenance records, and print previews
  • Process official print orders, damage claims, reprints, refunds, identity-review, and payouts
  • Fulfill official print orders and manage shipping and support
  • Maintain trust and safety on the platform, including age, payout, and identity-review eligibility where required
  • Operate public certificate pages, public profile pages, saved cards, saved creators, public moments, QR destinations, and shared links
  • Send push notifications, transactional emails, order updates, and account-related notices
  • Improve, maintain, monitor, and secure the App and Website
  • Respond to support requests and reports
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, unauthorized reproduction, and policy violations
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: Stripe, Supabase, Prodigi, Bunny.net, Resend, Expo, Apple, Google, and other vendors who help us operate the App or Website
  • Other users and the public: Your display name, profile photo, public profile details, public moments, saved or shared public content, and certificate pages may be visible to other users or the public depending on your settings and the product surface
  • Print order counterparties: When needed to complete or support an official print order
  • Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, subpoena, governmental authority, or to protect rights, safety, and security
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, with notice to you where required

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information and authenticated moment records for as long as your account remains active and for as long as needed to operate the platform, maintain authenticity records, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud.

If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention, transaction records, dispute resolution, chargeback defense, tax compliance, authenticity verification, fulfillment support, or security.

  • Date of birth information is retained for the life of the account as part of your account record and for age eligibility enforcement purposes
  • Print order records and damage claim photos are retained for a minimum of 2 years
  • Shipping addresses are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill orders and resolve related disputes
  • Public certificates, authenticity records, and related provenance data may be retained to preserve the integrity of authenticated records, even if certain profile information is deleted or anonymized

5. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted transmission, access controls, hashed passwords, and row-level access policies. Some content, including damage-claim materials, is stored in restricted storage locations and is not publicly accessible by default. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.


6. Children's Privacy

The App and Website are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, please contact us at support@ophinia.com.

Users who are at least 13 but under 18 may use limited portions of Ophinia, such as browsing, saving, viewing, sharing, and reporting content, but certain features are restricted to adults. Identity review, payouts, creator monetization features, and some purchase or paid features may be limited to users who are 18 or older or who otherwise have appropriate legal authority or consent.


7. Your Rights and Choices

You may:

  • Access or update certain account and profile information through the App or Website
  • Delete your account through the App under Account -> Delete Account or by contacting us
  • Opt out of push notifications through your device settings
  • Request a copy of personal information we hold about you
  • Request deletion of shipping information after print fulfillment, subject to our retention obligations

8. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and related laws, including the right to know, access, correct, delete, and request information about how your personal information is used and disclosed, subject to applicable exceptions. We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly used in California privacy law.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The App and Website may contain links to third-party sites or services, including Stripe-hosted checkout pages, social platforms, or other external destinations. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.


10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, by using an in-app notice, Website notice, or email. Continued use of the App or Website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
